Samsung has finally given us the official release date for One UI 7. The stable One UI 7 is now scheduled to be released in the next few weeks. Most Samsung Galaxy users are eagerly waiting for this big update as it brings a lot of new features like AI features and even UI changes.
The One UI 7 update comes with a big changelog, but it is mainly dominated by AI features that are currently exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series. Fortunately, some of the One UI 7 AI features are officially coming to older Galaxy models based on their hardware capabilities.
Samsung introduced new AI features in One UI 7 such as Now Bar, Drawing Assist, Audio Eraser, and more. However, these features will be available only on select devices. So, you should know whether your device is eligible for which of the upcoming AI features or not.
Here’s the list of AI features coming with One UI 7
- Now Bar: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10 series, Tab S9 series
- AI Select: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10 series, Tab S9 series
- Writing Assist: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10 series, Tab S9 series
- Drawing Assist: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10 series, Tab S9 series
- Audio Eraser: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Tab S10 series
- Deeper Google Gemini integration: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10 series, Tab S9 series
- Natural language search in Settings: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, Fold 6, Flip 6, Tab S10 series
The biggest highlight in the AI department is the Now Bar, which shows real-time updates of various apps directly on the lock screen. It’s similar to the dynamic island function but in the lock screen.
AI Select is another interesting feature that recommends certain actions based on the current screen. Writing Assist can help you summarize and format any selected content.
Drawing Assist lets you generate images with text prompts or sketches. Another great AI feature is Audio Eraser, which can remove background noise from videos.
Better and deeper integration of Google Gemini allows you to control your device as if you’re having a conversation with your friend. Natural language search in Settings can understand text queries, and the search will present relevant settings accordingly.
These features will start rolling out from April 7 with stable One UI 7 release.
